I had informed Barb and she refunded for BOTH the sizes (even though 40 was not that bad). HH has the best customer service so far.zarinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07892508367397250702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3619431127800180362.post-77254838188411368442011-01-15T14:56:44.041-05:002011-01-15T14:56:44.041-05:00Thank you for posting that. It won't matter then if there are slubs or knots. People say to complain and you'll get a free replacement. Well...I don't want a replacement for poor quality thread and the majority of mine has had a defect. I understand it happens now and then but this is more than that. I love the colors but I won't recommend it for tatting. It's fine for crochet as you can work around the defects but you can't work around a knot in the middle of a tatted ring without cutting and doing it over.Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17127914310809216760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3619431127800180362.post-34312295564231136152011-01-13T03:56:36.738-05:002011-01-13T03:56:36.738-05:00unbelievable ... and as you said - thank God it...unbelievable ... and as you said - thank God it's not in the middle of tatting smth ...MShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10790661574733898374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3619431127800180362.post-72469019591002505212011-01-13T03:27:37.463-05:002011-01-13T03:27:37.463-05:00So sorry your thread has turned out like this. I like tatting with it and is 2nd only to HDT for me. May this be the last ball of troublesome Lizbeth for you. Also a ball of Coats thread was roughly £2.50 from what I can remember some forty or more years ago and it hasn't really gone up much (if at all) since then. Ah, but maybe the balls have shrunk a tad!!!Jane Eborallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05129528958253092545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3619431127800180362.post-37687095047355737222011-01-12T12:23:01.133-05:002011-01-12T12:23:01.133-05:00Call or email Barb at Handy Hands, she will gladly...Call or email Barb at Handy Hands, she will gladly replace it!
