Candy Cane Mouse

If I manage to do this right, this post shouldn't show up until tomorrow 12/21.
I know it's odd for me posting twice in one day, and since I didn't want to put
anyone into a Bonnie overload I'm holding it off until tomorrow :-)

Dawn from Dawn's Stamping Studio showed how to make this Candy Cane Mouse.

I decided I had to make them for the ladies I work with.

Here's a closer look.

Aren't they the cutest thing.

Thank you for sharing, Dawn.

Happy Monday,

Bonnie

Update** I made another 18 for a total of 25, to gift away. Quite Fun.

Those are absolutely freakin' adorable (that's a good thing)!

Bonnie, thank you for visiting my blog! I just wanted to say that the nice thing about making the edging that fits around the blog and sewing the thread zig zag like between the edging or edings and the rings on the top of the globe and the bottome of the globe...you don't have to be super clever, just make the edging and close it like a ring where ever it falls on the globe will let you know if you need to make another one for the bottom half of if it fits directly around the middle of the globe you only need one. If this doesn't make sense tell me and I'll try to explain it in another way, but the ones that are "sewn" on are easy peasy and take little thought except for how many picots the top and bottom rings will need. you only need a ring that will fit around the top part of the ornament (the crown???...they call it???).

Anyway, it was so good to "see" you on my blog! Very Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Oh, Bonnie...I was so tired when I wrote the last message to you I think I used to word "blog" instead of "globe" when I was talking about putting the edging "around the globe" I accidentally said "around the blog"! LOL! Please forgive that error and I hope it makes better sense now!
Merry Christmas and (((Hugs))),

Candy cane mice - so cute! We have some at our house, too. My boys made them at school when they were younger. We put them out every year, but the candy cane doesn't stay in for long, LOL!
